Property Turn – Property Maintenance Handyman Prices
How much will my job cost?
At Property Turn – Property Services, our professional handymen charge between £12 and £27 per hour, depending on the type of work we do. We perform anything from cleaning and gardening trough to highly skilled carpentry, painting and decorating and home renovations, so the hourly rate depends on the level of skill required. The hourly rate will be clear and transparent when your receive your quote or when you book your handyman.
We require a minimum of 2 hours per job, except in certain circumstances. The cost of materials will be detailed out on your invoice, and you will only pay for the materials that are used for your job. For larger jobs that will take more than a few hours, we will provide you with a detailed quote.
Property Turn – Property Services provides handyman services in Reading, Berkshire and surrounding areas. For jobs outside of Reading, such as Basingstoke, Newbury and Maidenhead, additional travel fees apply and range from £15 to £55 per visit, depending on the distance from Reading.
How do I pay?
Upon the completion of work, an invoice will be presented to you for your review. You can pay your invoice by cash, cheque or bank transfer. See your invoice for details on how to pay.
Can I cancel?
You are free to cancel at any point up to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. We understand, sometimes it’s unavoidable, so please just get in touch, and we will try our best to re-schedule you for a more convenient time.
What about Larger Projects?
We can definitely take on larger projects, such as building garden offices, bathroom and kitchen renovations, or fencing and decking areas. For jobs that will take several days or weeks, or several handymen working together, we will provide you with a detailed estimate before the beginning of the project – in cases like that we usually give you our daily rate + material cost.
